Project overview
ON SHOW is an exhibition discovery and AR companion app that connects digital browsing with the on-site gallery experience.
Problem
Exhibition discovery is often fragmented, and the digital experience usually ends once visitors enter the gallery. ON SHOW creates a continuous journey from discovering an exhibition to experiencing it on-site.
EXPLORATION
I explored three directions: a discovery feed, location-based maps, and an AR companion. Testing shifted the focus toward AR as a way to extend discovery into the physical exhibition.
AR COMPANION
Visitors can scan artworks to reveal contextual information while keeping the physical exhibition at the center of the experience.
Outcome
Testing showed that connecting discovery with the on-site experience created a more engaging and continuous exhibition journey.
